For prospective parents, my advice is to spend a lot of time with the management (Chetana is always accessible), understand the school philosophy, learn about the kid, agree on a broad plan and work towards it.
The philosophy is more of a Co-parenting one. Also some level of patience and active parent engagement is required to blossom a kid into a happy and wonderful adult.

The school helps in lighting his life and accepts him with all his weakness and strength. Aurinko is best blend of Indian values and modern teachings. They are not after mugging of concepts rather they give space to learn concepts by heart with their own pace. Not only educational learning is their but the activities sholka recitation, theatres, yoga, dance, toy workshops (based on 3R’s) are few things which are icing on top of cake. “My son Amit studied here for 3 years. We had to move him to personal homeschooling only due to his health limitations. He loved the school.
It was Aurinko that gave Amit an opportunity to take part for the first time in his life, in two of their annual plays (the themes of which are truly thought provoking, hats off!!).
The school did not exert any academic pressure on him (I think I did, oops). Their Student Reports are truly “analytical & student friendly”.
Whenever I discussed Amit with Chetana Ma’am, the emphasis majored on “building his character towards a responsible, self-disciplined & independent growth as an individual” rather than just academics, scores, accomplishments, etc.

“Aurinko Academy is a community first, a community which is led by the awareness of eternal principles and the tenets of Indian culture, and a family where everyone looks out for each other. I couldn’t be happier with this school that both my children are part of.
The students start off the day with an assembly routine that energises them for the day – bare feet on the earth, facing the east and basking in the early morning sunshine while going through a set of exercises that works every part of the body starting with the eyes and ending with the ankles, followed by prayers.
The academics are blended into a holistic curriculum including carpentry, arts and crafts, yoga, cooking, sports, dance, theatre and focuses on building up the whole child in an integrated way. “I believe in destiny and have always believed that what is destined to happen in your life, will happen, however much you try to change things. I first came to know about Aurinko 4 years back when we were having issues with the way my daughter’s school was handling some behavioral issues. I read about the Aurinko philosophy and was keen to move my daughter to Aurinko. However, things settled down after a while and we dropped the idea of change of school.
However, fate had other plans. After moving out of Bangalore and again relocating back to Bangalore this year, we had another opportunity to reconsider the schooling options for her. Aurinko was our first choice and I am so happy that we decided to go with it.
It has been only 2 months and I know that my daughter has a long way to go before she can truly be a part of the Aurinko way of thinking. However I am already noticing changes. She is more confident, open, curious about things, always asks why something is the way it is instead of just accepting it and above all LOVES her school.
A big shout out to Ms. Chetana Keni and her team. Their involvement with the child is beyond expectations. And what I like best is that for all the decisions that may affect the child, the parents are involved in the decision making and not just informed about the decision. I Know it may not be possible for bigger schools to achieve that but there is still a lot that they can learn from this super team.”

“Aurinko Academy and me came into contact nine years ago. I was finding it difficult to find a school for my daughter which was more like home than school. Some friends introduced me. That was the beginning of a great friendship and association.
My daughter grew in confidence and knowledge due to the various activities that the school conducted. Students were taught to root themselves in Indian culture and meditation. Today the school has grown, come to a different location but the endeavor to produce good people more than great students continue. “A home away from home” is the best way to describe this rare gem. In today’s world of cut throat competition amongst schools, here is one which is child centric and caters to the needs of individual child rather than pushing them all in the rat race.
The teachers are loving and bond with every child. The teaching methodology is very practical and creative and it makes the child interested in the subject. They also inculcate traditional and cultural values in the children. Everyone is very approachable and friendly.
